SONIC BRANDING

Sound is one of the most powerful ways people experience and remember a brand. While visual identity systems are carefully designed and consistently applied, sound is often treated as temporary or purely aesthetic. Together with my team, I approach sound as a strategic layer of brand identity, translating brand values, personality and emotion into a recognizable sonic direction. Visual branding makes people recognize a brand, audio branding makes people CONNECT with the brand! 

My journey into sonic branding started after winning an Emmy for my work on The Outlaw Ocean. A friend with a brand heard my music and asked me to create tracks for his campaigns. From there, I realized how much music can shape a brand experience and I’ve been helping brands tell their stories through sound ever since.

1. WONDR

The story: 
WONDR’s playful and uplifting personality was translated into a complete sonic branding system of 5 mini-albums, one for each experience box. Via the QR code, each customer could hear the music made by Lavito guiding the full WONDR experience.

The story: 
The “Born to Move” track translated STARBALM’s focus on movement, energy and active lifestyles into sound, paired with interactive QR code experiences for customers.

3. Go Forest

The story: 
“The Climate Song” became the sonic heart of Go Forest’s initiative, celebrating new forest planting in Peru and inspiring companies to contribute to sustainability projects.
