How Belgian Producers Inspire My Music

Hey fam,

Belgium has always had a vibrant music scene, and growing up I couldn’t help but be inspired by Stromae and Lost Frequencies. Their approach to music, their creativity and their ability to connect with people through sound have shaped the way I think about my own work.

Stromae’s unique blend of storytelling, emotion and rhythm shows how music can go beyond just beats and melodies: it can convey ideas, tell stories and resonate deeply with listeners. Lost Frequencies demonstrates the power of atmosphere and groove, creating tracks that feel effortless yet emotionally impactful. Watching them both craft their music taught me the value of authenticity, attention to detail and experimenting with your own sound.

For me, inspiration doesn’t mean copying: it means learning, observing and translating those lessons into my own style. When I sit down in the studio, I think about the way these producers make music feel alive, how they balance emotion and technicality and how I can bring my own personality into every track I create.

Belgium has given the world incredible talent, and being part of that tradition motivates me to push myself and create music that feels both personal and universal.

Have a great one!
