I never really talked about this, but a while back my song “Viaje” quietly started to blow up in Colombia.
No campaign: no marketing plan: no PR push.
Just vibes and word of mouth.
People started sharing the track on TikTok, using it in stories, dance videos, even meditation reels. One day, this Colombian girl from Bogotá with quite a few followers posted a dance video to the track. She moved like she felt every note.
That’s when I called up J Mitzu, who co-produced the track with me.
I was like: “Bro… I think we’re hot in Colombia right now.”
We just laughed: surprised, excited, and honestly kind of in awe.
And for a moment, Viaje became a kind of passport: a sound that traveled way further than we imagined, all on its own.
I guess I didn’t talk about it earlier because I was still processing.
It reminded me why I make music in the first place: not for noise, but for connection, for flow, for the people who feel it and pass it on.
So here I am, finally saying it out loud.
